CDF Gigs is a connection platform only. CDF Music Group does not employ, represent, act as an agent for, book, supervise, background-check, insure, or control any artist, venue, owner, employee, guest, event, service, payment, communication, or agreement.
Independent parties
Artists and venues communicate, negotiate, contract, and perform independently. CDF is not a party to their agreement and does not collect or guarantee payment. Each user is solely responsible for evaluating the other party, confirming identity and authority, agreeing on compensation and terms, obtaining appropriate contracts, licenses, permits, insurance, security, equipment, and tax advice, and complying with applicable laws.
Artist content and links
Artists are solely responsible for every profile statement, image, recording, performance link, social link, and other item they submit. Artists must have the right to share that material and must keep it accurate, lawful, appropriate, publicly accessible, and free of malware or deceptive redirects. CDF may review, decline, hide, or remove submitted material, but does not guarantee its ownership, accuracy, availability, safety, or authenticity.
What “Identity Verified” means
The blue Identity Verified badge means only that CDF reviewed information submitted by the artist and confirmed, to CDF's reasonable satisfaction at the time of review, that the profile appears connected to a real person or active artist account and includes authentic-looking performance material. It is not a criminal, civil, financial, credential, reference, insurance, or safety background check. It is not an endorsement, recommendation, warranty, promise of quality, or guarantee of identity, conduct, availability, payment, attendance, performance, or outcome. Information and circumstances can change after review.
What “Featured on CDF” means
The gold Featured on CDF badge means the artist previously appeared in content produced or published by CDF Music Group. It does not expand the Identity Verified review and is not an endorsement, safety certification, or booking guarantee.
Assumption of risk
To the fullest extent permitted by law, users assume all risks arising from communications, meetings, travel, venue conditions, equipment, alcohol, guests, payments, cancellations, property loss or damage, personal injury, misconduct, disputes, and any booking or performance arranged through the platform. Users should use written agreements, verify details independently, maintain appropriate insurance, protect personal information, and use reasonable safety precautions.
Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDF Music Group and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not responsible or liable for acts, omissions, representations, disputes, losses, damages, injuries, cancellations, nonpayment, or other outcomes involving users or third parties. The platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
